As a musician, Calaida has performed as part of reggae artist Shumba Youth's band 'The Firepower', supporting Natty on his 2018 UK tour, and playing at festivals such as Boomtown, and Hackney Reggae Festival.

You can catch Calaida on the airwaves with the And What? resident DJs on The Face Radio, Brooklyn, and on her own monthly show on The BoAt Pod. She has also featured on stations such as Reprezent, Netil, AAJA, and Subtle Radio. Her mix with Mina on NTS was selected as one of MixMag's 'Best DJ Mixes of 2022'.

What you’re sure to find weaving through any Calaida set is a soulful, infectious groove; “if it feels right, it’s alright”.
